Snowboard jacket & pants
In general, your snowboard jacket and snowboard pants should be breathable and waterproof, i.e. have a water column of at least 5,000-10,000 mm. An integrated snow stopper or snow skirt in the jacket is not absolutely necessary, but as a beginner in particular, you will often be lying in the snow and therefore get a little less wet. Bibs can be super practical, especially on warm days. Basically, you should make sure that you can move around enough in your snowboard clothing.
Basically, there are jackets and pants with a lining, which are warmer or which have little or no lining. I prefer jackets and pants without lining and instead wear good functional underwear and a sweater. The typical onion principle. I often find that jackets and trousers that are too warm are often too warm for me.
I have been wearing snowboard clothing from various manufacturers over the last few years and have been most satisfied with the slightly more expensive Burton clothing. There is also a good quality/price ratio with Dope and Montec clothing.
